REVISED UPDATE ON TRIAL DAY 36, NOVEMBER 1. GOOD NEWS: REINER NOT VERY ILL. BAD NEWS: A SHOCK FROM HIS LAWYER, SIEMUND, FROM A DISCUSSION AFTER THE COURT DAY.

First, there was a translation error that led to the previous update. I got an English translation from a German friend. “It is going very badly with Dr R.F!” was (mis)translated as “Dr. R.F. is very ill” My friend went on to say she was very shocked - no (mis)translation - but it was because of what a lawyer, Siemund, said in a discussion after the court day.

There is a further reason for my posting the mis-translation. My friend wrote to me after she listened to Roger Bittel. I appreciate all Roger does. But I am a reader much more than a listener. On top of that, Roger is not someone who is as brief as possible. I can often read in a minute what is conveyed in a hour of talking.

My friend did advise me to listen to Roger, but as she gave a very brief summary, I thought, that would do it, especially as it sounded urgent - serious illness, after Reiner has been ill for a time.

Plus, perhaps I would later find a good summary of the court day on wearegreeekja, on their Telegram channel - and I could post that. But today wearegreeekja has had nothing new.

So now, what Roger has posted.

I have not listened yet. But below is the video. At the heart of my friend’s message: the lawyer, Siemund, in a discussion after the day in court, let it be known that things were going very badly for Reiner.
