REINER - PERSECUTION IN PRISON. NOW SLEEP DEPRIVATION.

This is a very short update about Reiner.

I am writing from the comfort of my home. Like so many of us, I care very much about Reiner, and am doing what I can - which is so very little.

Reiner is in prison, enduring increasing abuse. Now it is not “just” solitary confinement since the weekend of his birthday, May 5 - over 5 months to date. It is not “just” that he is not allowed to talk to any other prisoner, on the pretext that he could incite them to insurrection. It is not “just” that he is not even to signal any other prisoner in any way.

I have just received an email from a friend that he has now had an inmate put in the cell next to his, who screams day and night.

In other words, sleep deprivation. All out torture.

In other words, if what the authorities have done has not broken Reiner and seems unlikely to break him, they are intensifying the abuse. State-inflicted. Illegal. Increasing.
