I just thought that I would make the point that if Reiner is receiving his mail "unopened" .. it says that someone inside the prison system has decided that is the right thing to do .. maybe a special internal signal of support!
It is not an everyday occurrence to be educated by top lawyers in a live trial .. I am grateful to watch these events unfold. Reiner is certainly having to defend himself beyond reason .. but clearly this unravels the yarn that the Prosecution has dreamed up! If you have been thrown under the bus .. then it is under the bus you must look for the loose nuts. Those who have brought these criminal charges against Reiner can certainly see that their own freedom and reputation is in danger. I'm hoping for Reiner's continued safety within the prison system while this case continues.
It is an interesting situation that VF has found herself in .. not attached to the Prosecution .. she is outside the strategy. From a Biblical perspective .. the Prosecution is equal to Satan .. the accuser of the brethren. Law/Lore is a spiritual dialogue .. those who are unskillful will fail against a worthy opponent.
"You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” Exodus 20:17
"Not Coveting" is a basic teaching .. and by showing that Prosecutor John is representing VF, AF, and Hoffman .. are "Coveting" wealth that is belongs to Reiner, the Corona Committee, etc. their motives are laid bare for everyone to see. All of the things mentioned in Exodus 20:17 .. are a basic store of wealth. This legal instruction is basic and logical. The courts cannot defend something so profoundly immoral .. unethical .. without becoming also covetous.
We are always to exercise good judgment .. we do it every day as we drive down the road .. making many moves with our hands and feet .. so we drive safely. We are not to be "hasty in condemning" a person or situation. In the NT Bible is a lot of evidence; instructing the Jewish Zealots of Ancient Rome after Jerusalem was taken over .. to instruct them not to rebel against Roman rulers. The story of Paul as a Roman citizen and a Jew. Today .. those who claim Jesus and his apostles as their spiritual guides .. are actually following a Roman story invented as a governmental propaganda tool. Priests and Pastors are promoting an ancient Roman Universal idea .. to support their government .. even when they abuse their authority. As I have mentioned before .. the State wants every couple to have a "License to Marry" .. however, this is totally unnecessary .. nowhere in the Bible is such a spiritual requirement. Totally an invention of the Government .. promoted by people holding Bibles!

So Reiner was not allowed to repay his loan, because his accusers feared he might not?
Then their fear (for which there is what evidence that it was well founded?) is to be the basis of Reiner's conviction?
And these accusers take into their own hands not only the Corona Committee's funds, but appropriate Reiner's private funds too, so that not only can Reiner not repay the loan with the Corona Committee portion of his house sale proceeds, but cannot do so with the balance - his own liquid funds - either.
And this dark situation is created in conjunction with or at the behest of the public prosecutor, John.
The reports from the trial paint a picture of very confused prosecution witnesses who not only cannot maintain coherent stories, but are unable to give full and frank accounts of their actions due to various personal issues.
What exactly has been the relationship between the prosecution witnesses and the public prosecutor? Does it amount to a criminal conspiracy?
