Christmas caroling for Reiner (I hope was well supported) gives me another idea.
Maybe someone with the gift of music and song writing will write a song about Reiner that covers the great work he's done. It may have to be a series of songs to cover all he's done.
Also, maybe a video artist/producer could make a video tribute to this amazing man who is a blessing to the world

Unfortunately Reiner has no access to computers, and nothing can be brought to him. So for the carolling, he is getting the image of us carolling, plus the description - plus the words that we say from Lean on Me.
Inka let me know that, recently Reiner said to her: They won't break me. I'm not losing my voice or my sense of humor. My mother and father gave me that along the way.
In this sense, let us stand together, be strong and never forget to laugh.

I am not a German citizen. I do not know the German language. What I know is that supporters of political prisoners in the US have done campaign's of this nature. I have written on behalf of prisoners such as Kiryaku, a US whistleblower.
I think you wold love the story of Howell Wotlz - 9 years a political prisoner because he would not overlook money stuff that was outside legal. What saved him in the end was an honest judge. He has a great book on his experiences. I've also interviewed him.
I have heard back from Inka. She does not think it's a good idea to write to the prison admin. Instead she believes that sometimes these things make life in prison harder rather than easier. .

It is terrible what you have suffered and are suffering.
I pray for you and I pray your supporters with your support will hold the criminal perpetrators of the injustices against you to account.
They must be charged, investigated, found guilty of their crimes, and punished to the full extent of the law.
