WE WILL NOT COMPLY. A message from Donald J. Trump

What’s my take on the importance of Trump’s message: WE WILL NOT COMPLY?

FIRST, I SEE THAT “WE” ARE COMPLYING WITH SO MUCH, or anyway “we” do not know, barring violence, how to stop what is happening:

SECOND, in case you are one of the few people on Substack who did not hear Trump’s message of WE WILL NOT COMPLY, here is where I heard it:

So what’s my take on the importance of this message?

I have been hearing from all sides: we’re not having this! we will not be locked down again! we will not comply! I will not comply!

My sense is that Trump’s message will make millions more people go from outrage at the attempt to lock us up again, to not complying. This could spell the death of the current attempt to foist a new lockdown on the US. At least in the US, I see that the likelihood of again locking up people has just, if not tanked, then taken a big hit.

When someone whose interview with Carlson gets over 200 million views sends out the message, WE WILL NOT COMPLY, that counts.

What is also likely to count is another recent video, endorsed by Trump at the end, of the Dems contesting election after election. In case you haven’t seen that video, here it is. Lots of fun:

BUT . . .

I also see WE WILL NOT COMPLY as a drop in the bucket of derangement going on.

Likewise I see the video putting the Dems’ refusals to accept election against the charges against Trump for refusing to accept election results as another drop in the bucket of derangement.

That bucket of derangement is full and spilling over.

The challenge, as I see it, is moving from seeing and showing the derangement to stopping it.
