We get the message from so many sides: deep down, we’re all the same. The answer is: no. These days, from so many sides, we see evidence that we’re not all the same. For instance, while many of us have empathy, a small percentage of people do not. That small percentage can do much evil.

I came across the work of Laura Knight-Jadczyk because she wrote the foreword to the book that most impressed me in 2023: Political Ponerology, which is on a theory regarding the roots of evil in politics. From there I discovered the massive writings, the impressive contributions, of Laura herself.

As for Elana Freeland, I heard her interviewed, and came to her impressive contributions, her making understandable what is being done to us: Under an Ionized Sky and Geoengineered Transhumanism. She also reminded me of a part of the 60s and 70s generation that is often overlooked these days - not the part rejecting adulthood, but the part engaged in long discussions and ardently seeking a way to live well on this planet - that is, to be fully adult.
