What is going on with Canada? My goal: that people get a better idea. This matters hugely. Who gets elected in Canada could push Canada into 40 years of ever greater impoverishment. Or the reverse.
Elsa. You are just as BAD as mainstream media. You only present the Conservatives and Liberals. Those are two horses of different colour but same breeding and gait. There is very little mentioned about Maxime Bernier. Everyone needs to listen to what he has to say. He does not support war, He does not support vaccines. He does not support Global Warming. He thinks we should negotiate with Trump and not let him push us anywhere that we need not to go.
You have some interest in Canada, I see. Over here, those with eyes to see, know that WEF Carney is a Liberal plant. Carney is Trudeau's financial adviser, and pushed the country into financial hell, and was also against all that our truckers stood for. He advocated for punishment and the use of force. He would be THE worst leader ever of Canada, worse than Trudeau, and that's not an easy gig. Carney looks like a walking cadaver, with soulless eyes.
Many of us voted today in advance polls, after watching the English debate last night. MSM puts Carney as the 'winner' whereas Pollievre was clearly the calmest, most erudite and soundest of policy of all four men speaking. It was warming to see Quebec ask Carney about his tax dodging, and to see the NDP leader behave like a five-year-old in constant interruptions that revealed his inability to be any kind of statesperson.
You are right that this is an important election. We Canadian's must reverse the liberal hold that has crushed us for the last decade. Thinking people see the divide purposely created amongst us, and Carney is the incarnate example of such a divide as he would only create more, not less.
Saw a post on X by a Canadian that paints a dark picture of the future of Canada because of conditions in their economy and international trading that are similar to ours, but not being addressed. To his credit, Pres. Trump has been aware of these dangers since the 80's (video clips of him saying exactly what he is saying now), and is addressing to not only save U.S. businesses, but increase them. Having a leader who actually loves their country is huge and we finally have one, again.
Just a reminder that just because there have been associations between two people in the past, does not mean that they agree today. The example that comes to mind is John Bolton, who in the past was a really good U.N. Ambassador for us, which made him look like a great candidate to work in Pres. Trump's first term. He got an endorsement from one of my favorite thinkers who also was a former Asst. AG under Ed Meese. Heck, I even lobbied for Bolton by writing a letter to Pres. Trump as well as posts on social media. However, when he got the appointment, Bolton revealed his Neocon, pro war philosophy which was stunning to all of us who lobbied for him. Of course, Pres. Trump had no desire to go into another war and fired him. Since that time, he became a "Never Trumper". There might be some who because he was chosen for a position in Pres. Trump's first administration to make the philosophical connection between the two, but they are worlds apart. The point is, be careful by assuming because there was once a relationship that was similar in philosophically, that the philosophies remain the same later.
Trump has become a convenient scapegoat for many. Especially the liberal left who will gladly make accusations based on association.

Thanks for this. I'll have to dive deeper into this.
